St Michael's Church, Kirkham21/10/26 1926 and all that
We are pleased to announce a public lecture in partnership with Kirkham Grammar School and the Old Kirkhamians' Association, as part of our celebrations to mark the Centenary of the Diocese of Blackburn.
Inspired by this anniversary, and the centenary of Kirkham's War Memorial and Gardens, a public project which was led by legendary KGS Headmaster (and Curate of St Michael's) Rev'd Cresswell Strange, Adrian Long will deliver an illustrated lecture entitled "1926 and All That".
It will take place in the Old Hall at KGS on Tuesday 10th November at 7:30pm.
Full details, and a link to book tickets (for which there is no charge) are on the poster below. There will also be a sign-up list in church for those who wish to reserve a place.
This lecture is open to the general public, but members of the St Michael's are particularly encouraged and welcome to attend.
