Lots of people in Church sing in choirs. See here for details of St Michael's Church Choir. Another option is Kirkham Singers, a friendly community choir which also rehearses and performs in the church.
Dementia Carers' Support Group
For those who care for someone with dementia. It meets for mutual support and information sharing on the first Tuesday each month at 10.00am in the church.

A chance to socialise while knitting, sewing etc. Group members produce many different items as requested by particular charities or for charitable sale. Meets in church on Monday mornings from 9.30am.
This social group which enjoys a wide variety of activities such as meals, talks and visits. New members who do not attend St Michael's are particularly welcome.
A branch of the international Christian organisation which meets for
prayer, social events and charitable activity. Meetings are held on the
first Tuesday each month at 7.30pm in Church and visitors are very
welcome. Rather more surprisingly, so are men!
Parent & Toddler Group
A chance for play, coffee and chat. For babies to pre-schoolers and the parents, grandparents and childminders etc. who look after them. Meets in Church, 9.30-11.00am on Wednesday mornings during term-time.
Prayers & Pastries
This informal prayer group meets on the second Wednesday of each month, 10.00-10.45am at the Vicarage. Fortified by pastries, people come together to give thanks and to pray for the concerns of themselves or others. You are welcome to attend without feeling pressured to do anything except listen and pray silently.
A sociable opportunity to meet, pray and eat together on the third Saturday each month, 9.30-10.15am.
Reading the Bible Together
Bible Study groups regularly meet to focus on a particular book or theme with notes or study guides provided to help discussion along. Studies tend to last for around six sessions at most and are held either in the Church or in people's homes, daytime or evening, to suit the individuals involved. No prior knowledge is ever expected!
