Summer 2010 at St Michael's
It's been a busy and enjoyable summer at St Michael's. As many of us pause for our annual summer holidays, we can look back on a busy and memorable month in the life of our Parish.
On June 12th, we were blessed with perfect weather for Kirkham's annual Club Day celebrations, and the Procession of Witness in the morning was watched by large crowds enjoying the sunshine:-

In the afternoon, the Church Fayre was both enjoyable and successful, raising a total of £1214 for church funds:-

On June 21st, we were honoured to welcome the Green Howards of the 2nd Battalion Yorkshire Regiment for a Thanksgiving Service after their "Welcome Home" parade through Kirkham and Wesham:-

On June 27th, we welcomed Revd Kevan Thorn as our new Associate Priest, with the Confirmation Service being followed by a Parish Barbecue in the Vicarage Gardens. Again, we were blessed with perfect weather:-
